Proteinase K (lyophilized) with Buffer

Lyophilised broad-spectrum serine protease (~30 KU/mg) free of DNases/RNases, supplied with 10× storage buffer. For genomic DNA isolation, nuclease removal during purification, and enzyme location studies.

Proteinase K is a lyophilised, broad-spectrum serine protease (~30 KU/mg specific activity) purified from Pichia pastoris, supplied with a 10× concentrated storage buffer. Free of DNases and RNases. Cleaves peptide bonds at aliphatic, aromatic, and hydrophobic residues. Used for genomic DNA isolation, removal of nucleases during nucleic acid purification, and enzyme location studies. Stable at pH 4–12; activated by calcium ions.
